This ‘Doric’ cotton canvas bag is inspired by the beautiful language that is Doric! The bag features an A to Z of words fae ma hame in  North East o Scotland

For those of you that are not from this area, you probably won’t have any idea what half of these words are, but here is the list, from A to Z:

Aye aye ma quine,Bairnie, Canna be ersed, Denner, Eese, Fit like the day?, Gan awa doon the road, Haud on, Ill-trickit, Joukin the school, ken, Loonie, Mannie, Nae bad, Oot on the skyte, Pyoke o chips,Q nae handy, Richty o, Sotter, Teuch, Ur nae haen a fancy piece, Vyow, Wifie, X (axe), Yirdit and Z is for stripit horse!

The ‘Lossie letters’bag is screen printed by hand, in black using water-based ink, free of any harmful chemicals or toxins.

Choose from:

A 100% natural 5oz lightweight cotton canvas bag. Unbleached and undyed (perfect for folding up and taking in your hand bag) or a heavyweight canvas bag made from a super strong 12oz canvas with a 10cm gusset (double-stitched for extra strength).

Both bags have long handles for carrying over your shoulder, and measure W38cm x H43cm.

Each bag leaves our studio folded and tied with string with our luggage tag label… and don’t forget a paper crane will fly along too!
